One of the most beautiful rivers in Europe, the Soča is an important natural treasure in the Triglav National Park. It is probably the most famous alpine river in Slovenia, and rightly so, with its very different tributaries, deep emerald colour and brisk rapids in the upstream area. Set in breathtaking scenery overlooking the Julian Alps, it is home to the most fascinating and elusive fish species in the world - the marble trout - as well as Adriatic grayling and rainbow trout. The Soča is a veritable paradise for fishing, as well as it is a perfect location to relax in natural surroundings.

Day 1

DAY TRIP PLAN

Morning pick up in front of the hotel and drive to Soča. Full day of fishing activity on River Soča. A guide will share with you his/her detailed knowledge of the angling and will advise you on the right choice of lure, present the basic equipment for fishing and teach you the right way to apply and use the various casting techniques that will ensure you catch a marble trout, adriatic grayling or rainbow trout. A guide will always be ready to answer any questions you have. Return to the hotel after fishing activity.
